Lindsay Coursen, RN
Board Certified Registered Nurse
Lindsay Coursen is a Board-Certified Registered Nurse. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marymount University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from James Madison University.
Prior to joining the Kelly Goodman Group in 2021, Lindsay worked as a registered nurse for thirteen years at Children’s National Hospital where she served as charge nurse in the Emergency Medicine and Trauma Center, the only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center in Washington, DC. While she misses the energy and acuity of the Emergency Department with all of its challenges, she has developed a newfound passion for primary care and the connections she makes with her patients. A long-time patient of Kelly Goodman, Lindsay dreamt for years that one day she would work with Kelly and all of the amazing clinicians and staff she now counts as colleagues.
Lindsay grew up in McLean and feels fortunate to have her parents and brother still living nearby. She and her husband, Matt, also a local, reside in Bethesda with their two sons. They feel blessed to watch their boys grow up near their cousins and grandparents on both sides of the Potomac. Much of her time outside of work is spent cheering on her sons in their many athletic endeavors, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. To Lindsay, summer is the best time of the year when life slows down, and she and her family enjoy their two favorite places, Chatham, MA and Muskoka, Canada.
